Calling ALL Female Players! Destiny Army wants to recruit YOU!
Destiny Army, All-female Scenario Team, is looking for female players to join the team!
Destiny Army is a scenario team, with an emphasis on bringing more women into the scenario/woodsball/pump playing aspect of the sport. Those that join us at the events will get to learn and participate at the same time, running alongside other women who have the same thing in common – being female and loving paintball.
Destiny Army will debut at the Grand Finale at Wayne’s World in Ocala, Florida. Any female showing up in a Destiny jersey will have a free entry (a $65 savings!) into the Grand Finale event, which is said to bring in close to 2000 people! Once you have the jersey, the other events (can be up to 15 events) we will attend will also get you free entry, as well!
If you don’t have a Destiny jersey already, go to AnimalPaintball.com and order the Destiny Scenario version jersey that can be purchased online. If you end up showing to the event without a jersey, don’t worry, we will also have Destiny jerseys available for purchase at the event.
This event will also be an opportunity for women to tryout for the 16 active member spots. However, this doesn’t mean that the team will be exclusive to those 16 members. Destiny Army will be an unlimited number of women running in an event as a team, as long as they’re wearing the Destiny jersey. There will be perks when being a part of the team even if you’re not chosen as the 16 active member roster, which includes sponsored and discounted products, the chance to network and build relationships with people in the industry, and to get tips and coaching advice from Destiny’s Coach, and also LA Ironmen Pro Player, Mike Paxson, and legendary World Champion Rocky Cagnoni!
In 2009, Destiny Army will participate in at least 10 scenario events. There will also be other events that we will try to attend, like an SPPL (Scenario Paintball Players League) or even FPPL (Florida Pump Paintball League). The whole point of Destiny Army is to introduce more women into the sport and inspire those women through those exemplary players that exist on the team already from players on Destiny’s tournament team like Bea Youngs, Brittany Wagoner, Jackie Lon, and Angie Manfrate. Destiny coaches Mike Paxson and Rocky Cagnoni will also be at the Grand Finale, so you’ll have the chance to meet and play alongside them, as well. Both advanced and beginners can join the team – there are no restrictions.
Come be a part of history! We’re hoping to have the most females in attendance at a paintball event, starting with the Grand Finale.
