DESTINY TRYOUT THIS WEEKEND - Part 1

The tryouts had such a selection of talented players for us to choose from, the decision was a very difficult one to make. Those selected will be contacted by tomorrow, Wednesday, 1-24-07, and if they don’t hear from me via phone, they are asked to get in contact with me (Bea). I wish we could take every one of them, but we’re only looking for three, at the most, to fill our D1 team roster and a maximum of 9 players for our D2 team.

The D2 team will only play XPSL events and one NPPL event in California unless the budget for the D2 team increases. Their success in the XPSL will determine if they will attend more NPPL events than the one already scheduled towards the end of the year. Those D2 players will benefit from being on the team because of the practice with the D1 team under Mike Paxson and get a chance to go up against other competitive teams competing in the NPPL.
