Why Paintball?
I’m drawn to it; it’s my calling. It’s something different. Exhilirating. I like to face the odds, and in this case, a female playing in such a male-dominated sport (co-ed sport; not segregated) - that’s intriguing. Most of all, I love the people and the happiness the sport brings to them (in both woodsball and airball).

I work at a field and practice full time.

What you want to be when you “grow up”:
I want to be a professional paintball player. I also want to work within the paintball industry by writing magazine articles and designing clothing and other paintball products.

Snowboarding, Scuba Diving, Camping, Jet skiing, and Extreme Hide and Seek

Sports Background:
6 years of competitive Hockey, 11 years of competitive soccer, 3 years of competitive basketball. I’ve also always been involved with extreme sports such as rock climbing and scuba diving.

Why Paintball?
It’s an adrenaline rush! The feeling you get while running around and shooting people is none like any other sport I have ever played. It doesn’t matter your age or gender, anyone can play paintball. Also the camaraderie in paintball is amazing. Paintball is the only sport I have ever been a part of where two teams will step onto the field to destroy eachother, and then go and hang out afterwards.

I would love to teach Theology someday in a private high school, along with being the world’s # 1 mommy!

hobbies: Well… my day consists mostly of school and working. Add paintball practice with family time and I’m pretty much booked.

Sports Background: Soccer is my first love. I played D2 & D1 Wags Soccer all through middle and high school. I also played for my Varisty team as well.
To keep in shape I cycle and mountain bike. I also cycle for my brother’s foundation - The Christian Lon Foundation (www.christianlon.org). He has a rare degenerative disorder called Hunter’s Syndrome (MPS II). It is closely related to Lauren’s disease from the Lauren’s Hope Foundation.
I also really enjoy snowboarding, long retreats to the gym (very therapeutic), and ultimate frizbee!

Why Paintball?
The adrenaline is none like any other sport… well maybe sky diving, but other than that you can’t beat it! I’m also very drawn to it because it is a male dominated sport. There are no women’s leagues like it in other sports, so you either compete with the men or go home.
Paintball is probably the most challenging sport for women to earn respect in. I know that each of us Destiny girls are driven by that factor alone.

I don’t have time or money for other hobbies! Paintball’s the way to go!
Haha, video games, movies, and hangin’ with the boys is always a good way to pass the time!
Used to play badminton, martial arts...that’s about it. Paintball paintball paintball...for about 3 years now!

Why Paintball?
Why? Got into it because my ex boyfriend was pretty deep into it already (now plays for Impact Pro) so I decided to give it a shot. It was different from anything I’d ever done, love the adrenaline, love pushing myself. Feeds my competitive nature and need for fun! Great outlet for all the pent up energy, and the people are generally pretty cool, too.
